What you need before installing
To install a CS2 macro through Logitech G HUB you'll need: a Logitech G mouse (G502, G102, G Pro X, G403, G703, or any other G-series model), the latest version of Logitech G HUB installed, and a macro file from MACROSCS (.lua format). If you don't have a macro yet — message us on Telegram and get the file within 30 minutes of payment.
G HUB is downloaded from Logitech's official site. Install it, reboot your PC, and run it as administrator — this alone rules out most macro playback issues in CS2.
Step 1. Create a profile in G HUB
Open G HUB. Select your mouse at the bottom of the window. Switch to the "Profiles" tab. Create a new profile and name it, for example, "CS2 MACROSCS." Important: under "Assign Application," choose Desktop rather than CS2 — this guarantees the macro keeps working regardless of game updates.
After creating the profile, click the gear icon and make sure "Onboard Memory" is turned off — macros only work in software mode, not through the mouse's onboard memory.
Step 2. Import the Lua script
Inside the profile window, go to the "Scripts" tab (ASSIGNMENTS → SCRIPTS). Click "Create Script." An editor will open. Delete all the default content and paste in the code from the .lua file you received from MACROSCS. Click "Save and Run."
Done. The script activates automatically when CS2 launches. Weapon switching is bound to CapsLock by default. Configuration details are documented inside the script itself.
Step 3. DPI and sensitivity setup
MACROSCS macros automatically adjust to your DPI and in-game sensitivity — no extra configuration needed. If you play at 400–3200 DPI and 0.5–3.0 sensitivity, the macro will work perfectly out of the box. For non-standard values (above 3200 DPI or below 0.5 sens), just message support and we'll adjust the file for you individually.
Important: don't use onboard memory mode — it disables G HUB and the macro stops working. If the macro isn't playing, check that CapsLock is active (the indicator light is lit) and that G HUB is running.
