Why utility matters beyond raw damage
Grenades in CS2 are a space-control tool, not just a damage source. A smoke blocks vision over a key spot, a flashbang opens a safe entry into a zone, a molotov pushes an opponent off a position without direct contact. Teams that use utility well can win rounds with zero frags in the opening seconds.
Grenade types and their roles
| Grenade | Role |
|---|---|
| Smoke | Vision block, covering an approach |
| Flashbang | Blinding the enemy for a safe entry |
| Molotov/Incendiary | Displacing from a position, damage over time |
| HE Grenade | Direct damage to a group of enemies |
Flashbang timing basics
An effective flash blinds the enemy without blinding you โ a pop-flash thrown off a wall so the burst happens around a corner from you gives maximum effect. Timing matters more than the throw spot: too early and the enemy turns away, too late and your team can't capitalize on the window.
Coordinating utility with your team
The most common mistake at low ranks is one player burning all their grenades alone with no team coordination. Rule of thumb: one player handles smokes (usually whoever enters first), and flashes are thrown on request right before an entry, not pre-emptively.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are MACROSCS macros cheats?
No. MACROSCS macros run inside the mouse's own software (Logitech G HUB, Bloody LK-Libra, Razer Synapse). They never interact with CS2 game files and never modify process memory. It is the same as programming a mouse button to do something - completely legal and does not violate Valve's rules.
Is VAC Safe a guarantee?
VAC analyzes the game process, not the mouse driver. Since our scripts run at the mouse firmware level, VAC physically cannot see them. Across MACROSCS's entire history (1200+ clients) - 0 VAC bans.
Which mice do the macros work with?
Supported: Logitech G (G HUB), Bloody (LK-Libra / Oscar Editor), Razer (Synapse 3), and SteelSeries (GG Engine). A separate script file and instructions are provided for each platform.
Do the macros work on FACEIT?
FACEIT Anti-Cheat operates at the kernel level and checks game memory. Our macros run in the mouse software and never touch the CS2 process, so FACEIT has no way to detect them. Thousands of FACEIT players use MACROSCS daily.
How long does a macro keep working after a CS2 update?
Valve occasionally changes recoil patterns in patches. All MACROSCS clients get updated scripts for free within 24-48 hours of a patch release, via our Telegram channel.
Can I try a macro before buying?
Yes. Message us on Telegram @macroscs and we will provide a 30-minute demo version to test on your mouse and setup.
How much does it cost and how do I buy?
Price depends on the package: Basic (1 weapon) - $5, PRO (all CS2 weapons) - $15, Ultimate (CS2 + PUBG) - $25. Payment via crypto or card. Full details on Telegram @macroscs.
